The budget for a renovation depends on many things: units, materials, appliances, installation, and also any works around the kitchen. It has to be discussed honestly.
It is what lets you set priorities: where to invest, where to simplify, which elements are essential. In a renovation, the right trade-off usually matters more than piling on options.

A renovation usually demands more anticipation than a new build: walls are not always straight, floors can vary in level. Taking measurements is therefore an essential step.
